Hey! My name is Chase McMurren and I'm the PYPA music convener! I live in Lethbridge and I'm 16. God has totally blessed me with a gift and love for worship, and it's a pleasure to be able to use these gifts in different ways to glorify Him. I am one of the worship leaders at my church and I'm really involved the worship leadership and Christian Ed. I play and teach piano, lead/sing/teach voice, play guitar and organize worship. I'm big into public oratorical and dramatic speech and I'm working towards my diploma or two in the next year or so. My favourite sport is volleyball. After high school I want to go to ABC, and then to med school. I enjoy most music unless it sucks and my favourite books of the Bible are Romans, Corinthians and the Pastoral Epistles. I have studied worship for 5 years with various teachers/leaders and I love it! I think that music is such an important part of Christian worship, and that it is one of the ways to grow closest to Christ, which is one of the reasons worship at conference is so important. It is my goal as music convener to make the worship at the next few conferences the best it can possibly be! PYPA worship is gonna rock!
